I will be exhibiting a series of animated Processing (coded) drawings and corresponding 3D models/prints in response to environmental concerns. Specifically, these pieces will be based on the blueprints of “McMansions,” and will examine excessive consumer culture by putting visual emphasis on the wide array of both standard and novelty rooms one might find in these large‐scale homes. The animated drawings will be executed in shades of blue while the 3D prints will be executed in porcelain. The delicacy of these two media mirrors the fragility of the market. I am asking questions about value, the environment, consumption, and the monetization of happiness.
