Synergism

Synergism is an in-progress 3D print-on-demand sculptural street art project. Each cluster of office-related objects is designed to fit into corner-shaped spaces. Participants are encouraged to print these subtle sculptures, and install them on office buildings they feel could spontaneously start leaking bureaucracy (DMVs, corporate headquarters, office parks, etc).

The works are 3D modeled in SketchUp and printed in matte bronze steel by Shapeways. Bronze is utilized due to its connotations with other large-scale recognizable public sculptures, such as life-size portraits of politicians or members of military on horseback.

I hope that those who participate in this project by printing and installing these sculptures will email imagery of the installed work to ellen@ellenmueller.com

UPDATE: I am no longer living in West Virginia, but in Fall 2019, I received these photos of the original installation after years of weathering. I quite like how the elements have affected the surfaces of these metal sculptures.
