In fall 2024, I joined Nancy Ariza at Amilado Press for private instruction in watercolor monotype and stencil monoprint and studio access. During April 2025 residency, Nancy invited me back for a residency.

I’ve been building off the work previously completed at Amilado Press, and am expanding into new subject matter and color palettes. I’m thinking about power as it relates to single family homes, the pre-colonial environment of Minnesota, electrical grids, nature, and larger community systems of infrastructure. I am also influenced by my garden where I spend a lot of time with native plants in an urban landscape, chatting with neighbors and passers-by.
