I am excited to be preparing for the What We Share Project, a series of 6 vinyl artworks in the street-facing windows of downtown Buckhannon buildings. I just finished installing the last one, and if you take a photo with any of them, please post to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the tag, #WhatBuckhannonShares.
This free public project will run now through August 19, 2016, and is best visible during daylight hours. The imagery aims to bring focus to things we, as a community, can be proud to share, such as various public goods and the natural beauty of West Virginia.
To help the public locate the artworks, I will have paper copies of maps (see picture here) available at Festival Fridays on August 5, 12, and 19 to help promote the work, which is all within walking distance of Jawbone Park.
If you know anyone that would like to promote this project, a press release is available at http://tinyurl.com/hpldf7h
