Tracking Ellen Mueller - ART - Their Turn Series

The magazine Newsweek is a means of measuring time with its dependable weekly publication. Of specific interest is Newsweek's essay series, "My Turn," which is unique because each submission is written by a reader, rather than staff writers. The stuff of these essays creates an often interesting, and sometimes mundane, record of time passing. In response to these essays, my series of Newsweek covers embraces the reader's experience of time passing, in contrast to typical covers, which can often be little more than the marketing director's effort to sell more magazines.
