Classes are over, and it’s time again for my semester round up where I look back on teaching these past few months…

Spring 2015, during 3D Design course, students completed exercises familiarizing themselves with 3D modeling in SketchUp and 3D printing using Shapeways. For this particular assignment, they were instructed to create a ‘surrealist object’ combining to seemingly disparate objects.

3D Design
We had a lot of fun in this class experimenting with paper packaging, clay busts, 3D modeling/printing, and inflatables.

Intermedia: Memories & Microcontrollers
In this class we walked through introductory Arduino exercises (small simple computers) and combined those studies with readings on memories and viewings of artists working with memories.

Senior Seminar
This was a great class because I started working with these students in the fall during Portfolio Prep and helped them create either portfolio presentations (for the designers) or senior exhibitions and artist talks (for the artists). They are a great group of people and I was very proud of all their hard work!
